As Nihilism, Anarchy, and the 21st Century (the frst pamphlet in the series) raised the question of what relevance nihilism has to anarchy it could be argued that these essays beg the opposite question. What does anarchy have to o?er nihilism? That the range of anarchists includes the clowns from protest alley, micrometertoting specialists of oppression-identifcation, and Marxists who wear black ?ags isn’t a condemnation of anarchist ideas but is a signifcant reason for pause. In that pause we have to challenge our assumptions about anarchy. What do we really share with others in the big tent (or should it be called a circus tent) of anarchism?
