Tomoyo Nishi was fascinated by Japanese washi papers and their colors. While in high school, Tomoyo went to the washi stores after school frequently and always wanted to do something special with these beautiful washi papers. Tomoyo was so lucky to have found a teacher of the Japanese paper (washi) art in Santa Monica about 20 years ago. Tomoyo has continued to learn and create the pieces with washi papers even after her returning to Japan. To find out more about these beautiful works of are you can contact Yomoyo at (310) 203-9935 or email her at ntomoyo@msn.com.
