As the year ends and the major holidays approach, we sit back and take some time to delve into the origins of many of our modern day holidays and traditions. What's the deal with decorating trees, giving presents, eggs and bunnies, and Santa Clause? Do Mistletoe and Jingle Bells protect from evil and drive spirits away? What the heck was a "Juul Log"? Were the lighting of the eight candles linked to the winter solstice? Is Halloween really an Irish Holiday?
