Suffer, Rejection, & Die

Jesus said, "The Son of Man must suffer many thing, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed."  The promise to His death is the power of the resurrection on the third day.  This is where the greatest miracle lies.  Our salvation is in His death and resurrection for the atonement of our sins.  We are called to be like Him and Jesus said, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it."  Wow! Do you die daily?  Do you truly have a desire to follow Him?  Why? Is life just too good for now? "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His glory, and Father's, and the holy angels."  Are you ready to truly die of who and what you are and to be raised a new creature in Christ Jesus?  Give Him your life and surrender yourself to the cross and be raised from the dead with new life more abundantly.
