FLORIDIANS CALL TO ACTION - NO MORE TOLLS!  SIGN PETITION TODAY!

Guest:  Chris Wills -No More Tolls - Florida Constitutional Amendment - Petition

Join the effort to give Floridians the power to vote on tolls!  www.NoMoreTolls.us

Roads that have existed for decades without tolls, are having tolls added to them across Florida in communities including Miami-Dade, Tampa, Jacksonville and Orlando.

By 2020, Florida will have spent well over $6 BILLION to impose tolls on working families across the state, instead of investing those dollars into other long-term solutions to our transportation issues. There is NO state-wide legal cap on tolls. Without a cap, tolling authorities could charge $20, $30 or even $40 for tolls.  Like FB https://www.facebook.com/events/776157685838004/

Toll Abuse is Nationwide!

Guest: Bob Ahlers - "Pain at the Toll Plaza"

Bob Ahlers.  In 2000, Bob joined a New Jersey ad-hoc committee called Citizens Against Tolls, or CAT, whose goal was the elimination of tolls on the New Jersey Garden State Parkway.  In 2001, the elimination of tolls became a gubernatorial campaign issue when Jersey City Mayor Bret Schundler announced that if elected, he would eliminate Parkway tolls in nine months.  His opponent, Woodbridge Mayor James McGreevey, responded by also promising to eliminate Parkway tolls.  McGreevey won the election but quickly reneged on his pledge and actually added tolls on the Parkway.
