Asperger's Syndrome and Care

Asperger's Syndrome - Another well-defined disease state and they are talking  about the usual suspects...advocacy, awareness, etc.  Now they do take a lot of Care in defining the disease charachterics.

...but isn't it disease itself that needs to be eliminated?  If so, wouldn't wellness need to be achieved? Consequently, the care of defining wellness and it's pursuit is where the  care needs to be placed....not in defining disease states and creating advocacy groups.
