Urs Wiesendanger is producer/composer/arranger and mixing engineer for over 20 years. He's been doing work for many different artists such as: Michael Sembello, Jeff Lorber, Dave Koz, Warren Wiebe, DJ Bobo, Eric Benet, Bligg, Coolio, Snoop Dogg, Nubya, a.m.o.

Urs Wiesendanger's production contributions to Contante & Sonante's Highlights and Rarities (2011) include eight tracks, four of them heard here for the first time. These previously unreleased gems are "Luckiest Man", a smooth, sultry R&B number featuring world-renowned guitar player Chris Camozzi and great vocals courtesy of the talented Skyler Jett who was a singer for The Commodores, "When I Think of You", which is an extraordinary ballad featuring the great singer Rey Thomas, backed up by the incredible Robbie Buchanan on rhodes, and two beautiful renditions of the Christmas evergreens "Silent Night" and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", both performed by the fantastic singer and regular Wiesendanger collaborator Thierry Condor. Bill Cantos' "The Final reason Why" and Frank Adahl's "If Only for a Day" are the numbers added to Highlights and Rarities from Urs' 2005 release on the label. The stunning big-band swing arrangement of "The Christmas Song", sung again by Thierry Condor, and the wonderfully performed rendition of "This Christmas" by singer Miriam Dee, complete the list of songs produced by Urs Wiesendanger on Highlights and Rarities.
