One of the biggest tricks played on indigenous Negro Afro-Americans is we were deceived into leaving our farms and tilling the land we farmed. Through colonization and being conquered, we were deceived into accepting their education, deeming our ancient ways as ignorance and moving into what is now known as “urban areas” to look for jobs. Leaving the land has gotten us away from both our farming and hunting roots that span thousands of years. The effects have been staggering in terms of us growing both food and natural resources and remedies not only for ourselves in the Americas, but the world. And for the most part, we no longer possess the ability to hunt for our food to provide for our families and our people. What will it take for us to return to nature and go back to our farming and hunting roots? Have we become so “civilized” that we’ve lost our way and can no longer grow and raise our own food? Join me and guest Rooted Sky as we explain what caused our nature situation and what it will take to solve it.
