While for some, the inauguration of the first black president has lessened racial tensions, as reported in the Boston Globe, it has set off a wave of violence on the white supremacist fringe, with anti-hate groups attributing six recent killings - including the ambush last month of three Pittsburgh police officers and the fatal shootings last month of two Florida sheriff's deputies - in part to anger over President Obama's election. More about this tonight... Meanwhile, as reported by the Huffington Post, on Wednesday, a story in the Washington Times about murdered Chicago schoolchildren was inexplicably paired with a photo of President Obama's daughters. The two girls are not mentioned in the story, and aside from having at one point been schoolchildren in Chicago have no conceivable connection to it. Let's talk about this and other issues tonight on the Political Slugfest. "If you can handle the truth."
