Patterson of NY, picks Gillibrand for the US Senate Seat from NY, Gov. David A. Paterson has selected Representative Kirsten Gillibrand to fill New York’s empty Senate seat. No blacks allowed in the U.S. Senate this year. oops, one slipped in. How did that happen? Former Senator George J. Mitchell will be special envoy for Arab-Israeli affairs and longtime diplomat Richard C. Holbrooke will work with Afghanistan and Pakistan. No blacks or Arab-Americans need apply to those positions. Neanwhile, William J. Lynn III, President Obama’s pick for deputy secretary of defense, has been a lobbyist for the military contractor Raytheon. Sounds like the same song People... The White House denied news cameras access to President Obama’s just-in-case second swearing-in, providing its own photos instead. I wonder why? What happen to the Lincoln or family Bible?
