Mingo Morvin went kayaking in a vicious James Bay storm solo at night. Waves pounded his 16 foot sea kayak as he forged ahead attempting to land on a safe patch of soil in the cold northern waters. Waves broke over the bow. The Minnow, his kayak, climbed the face of the next wave. Winds blow the rains verticle into his face with his headlamps light glued to my compass. After five hours of battling the cold desolete waters he found a place to land.
