The businnes of Policing.
We will be taking about the case in Kanas where a 11-Year-Old Kansas Boy was taken away from her mom due to Her Use of Cannabis Oil to Treat Crohn’s Disease.
Have we really been so domianted by the government that the police now can enter our homes without a warrant and take our kids?
What the government does not want you to know is that the federal government has perverse economic inecntives for the states to get more people processed through the social services network as it relates to : restraining orders, child welfare and child portective services.
The policing of people is a business and not a good one for our democracy.
We will disucss these issues with out guest Shelley Albert. She is an attorney and for five years, Shelley served as an Assistant District Attorney under the legendary Robert M. Morgenthau. Morgenthau and his team at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office were known an equal-opportunity prosecutors, sending record numbers of white-collar criminals, slumlords, murderers, drug dealers, stock manipulators, sex-offenders, street thugs, and Mafia dons to prison.
Shelley is known nationally, thanks in part to her guest appearances on CNBC, MSNBC, Fox News and other networks. A member of Mensa, Shelley mentors young attorneys through the Trial Lawyers Association and has provided pro bono assistance to Legal Services of New Jersey.
