Destiny Carter grew up in the small town of St. Petersburg Florida. Her love for all things literature grew from the time she finished her first book Freckle Juice. Trying her hand at acting and performing in productions of the Wizard of Oz, A raisin in the sun, and a few other original plays she eventually found her true voice in writing. Destiny attended Fort Valley State College where she studied Mass Communications. Although her love for writing was put on the back burner to try other career interest Destiny eventually found her way back to her true passion, writing. Destiny’s first novel Pleasure Island was published in August of 2007. In 2008 Destiny produced her sophomore book Snow Cap Mountain. To complete a hot triangle of steamy and sharp witted books Dirty Karma was released to take the literary world by storm. Khalilah Jordan was born and raised in the streets of Brooklyn, New York. She is the second child out of three and the only girl. For the 22-year old life was never easy. There was struggles after struggles. Khalilah had dreams of starting her own business. She wanted more in life so she enrolled herself in college where she later received an associate degree in Business Management. Later in 2006, she started working for the NYPD as a Traffic Agent. Khalilah realized the NYPD was not a career for her so in 2007, she started writing a book. She wanted to see if she had what it took to become successful so she gave it a try. At first writing a book wasn’t easy for her. There was a lot of negative people saying that she couldn’t do it. The negativity motivated her to finish her first book Loyal To The Game. Khalilah is currently looking to start her own publishing company. She wants to give talented people a chance to make their dreams come true. Just like someone made her dreams come true.
