Ken Blackwell was recently a leading candidate to become the Chairman of the Republican Party. He is the former mayor of Cincinnati, state treasurer and secretary of state of Ohio, undersecretary at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the US Ambassador to the United Nations Human Rights Commission. He is currently a senior fellow with the Family Research Council, visiting professor at Liberty University School of Law, and on the board of directors of the NRA, Club for Growth, National Taxpayers Union, and the Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs. He is the author of Rebuilding America and his columns can be found in the Wall Street Journal, Washington TImes, New York Post, American Spectator, American Thinker, World Magazine, NationalReview.com, FoxNews.com, and Townhall.com.
