Today were are recapping a Silent film shown at the NYPL of the Performing Arts

The NYPL booklet says: Silent films with live piano accompaniment Bruno Walters Auditorium 2:30pm

The will be a delight because I have seen many but never view a silent film in NYC Theater

Define: A silent film is a film with no recorded sound, especially no spoken dialogue.

In silent films for entertainment the dialogue is transmitted through muted gestures, mime and title cards. 

Marquel and I watch silent films like cartoons since he was a small boy!
