This show is a special treat and departure from the norm on 3600seconds, once in a while Chris is able to have an A-list recording artist and this time it's the great jazz and music virtuosso Leena Conquest. For the 2nd show in a row we have a Texan on as guest, and her work has been included in the Downbeat Critics Poll Top 10, and she has worked for top jazz names as William Parker, and Roy Ayers among others.

Her latest recording is a collaberation with the legendary Dave Burrell on a CD called "Plays His Songs (2010)," and before then she added her own style to R&B in the "Come Fly Away" album featuring "Boundaries." She is best-know to record with bassist William Parker.

We will talk with Sister Conquest about her great life and career in entertainment and you can call-in with questions or comments by pressing 1, or in the comment section on Facebook on the link below this post.
