Abrams is Motown Founder Berry Gordy's first employee and a well-known recording Artist Publicist. He and Chris discuss the late Gladys Horton of the Marvelettes (Order the complete Marvelettes box set CDs here) and other Motown R&B artists.

The loss (1/26/11) of the humble unassuming woman with the Huge voice will leave a void in the music world. Horton and her group were the first Motown hitmakers.

Feel free to leave your thoughts and reflections of Gladys and the Marvelettes in the comments section near the bottom of this page.
