We will be welcoming long-time racers but first-time guests into the studio. Artie Pedersen, Jr, heads up Checker One Motorsports, a team composed of his sons, Artie Pedersen III and Alan. The team has worked their way through the ranks, running a Late Model, Legend cars, and a modified.The team has also been honored to be New York State Champions in the Legend Division. This season, they will campaign Legends and a modified at Riverhead Raceway. Sal Accardi, Jr. also comes from a racing family, His dad raced back in the day, After walking away from the sport for a time, Sal strapped in again in 2017 and will run the full modified season at Riverhead.
