The Answer to sin has been given.  Not knowing that Answer a believer will NEVER get the victory over sins and weights that easily beset him. 

A Christian is not a person who has been 'altered' some how, leaving the old nature alongside the new.  No, the Christian is a PERSON MADE NEW.

The only way to understand that is to understand that you ARE A SPIRIT.

It is YOU, the spirit, who is made new, because it was YOU, the spirit who WAS SIN.

In Christ, you ARE not altered but YOU are MADE NEW.
