Producer, Director, and Writer of the Best Feature Film, Everyday Black Man, Carmen Madden is the founder and Director of CLM PRODUCTIONS LLC. Not only is she an award-winning director, but she is also making history as one of the first African American women to run a well-maintained feature film studio in Oakland, California.

An Oakland casting director and writer who leapt into filmmaking, Ms. Madden wrote, directed and produced the polished, pointed and very Oakland "Everyday Black Man" in 2009.   “Everyday Black Man” got a distributor, Entertainment One, after winning prizes at the American Black Film Festival in Los Angeles and the Amsterdam International in Holland last year.

I want to thank my Co-Producer, Vicki McGee for introducing me to the very dynamic woman.  Ms. Madden is an actress and College Instructor.  Along with all these talents, Carmen has a BA in film and a MA in English with a concentration in creative writing from San Francisco State University. It is her wish that she will produce films that inspire hope, promote discussion, and encourage people to become more involved in their community
