Our guest this month is Roy Whitmore, PhD author of WRONG! "Trump Ethics for all Ages."

During his leadership roles at Target and later at Jewel-Osco Roy was concerned with the interviewing and hiring process for management positions. It seemed that minorities and women were often screened out and not hired for a position that they were fully qualified for and in many instances they were better qualified than the white male that was hired or promoted.

Though it appeared on the service that the decision-making process of the hiring executives was biased and in some cases it probably was, he believed that there was a deeper issue because some of the hiring managers were his friends, and he knew them to be very accepting of diversity in our organization.

As such, his research during his doctoral studies focused on identifying not just the decision and the outcome of their decisions when selecting leaders, but the actual decision-making process itself.

In addition to the leadership perspective, we will discuss his book WRONG! "Trump Ethics for all Ages"
