Generation No More - Dynamics of Family Violence

Tonight 'Generation No More' and host Trish McKnight are discussing with your voices, THE DYNAMICS OF FAMILY VIOLENCE and/or ABUSE!!

 Sometimes we never think of these acts as being a 'generational' trained aspect of human behaviors. If we see inside our homes & family structures, you will see just that; a 'trained pattern of behavior' which has been taught since mankind was first created. What have they taught us? What do we teach our children from the impact of the trauma we endured?

As a joined society it is our Adult Responsibility to ensure to safety of one another. The secret trauma and violence that is allowed to flourish within our homes is the most dangerous setting. It tells our children and those around us that we don't care if others are harmed. We don't care what you do in your home. This must never be allowed and we must make the choice to do the right thing.

The CDC estimates 1 in 4 homes are dealing with some form of abuse or violence. They estimate $8.4 Billion a year in the lifetime cost of survivors of Domestic/Relationship/Family Violence. There is another $124 Billion being spent on the lifetime recovery cost and prevention of child abuse. It is up to us now to end this man-made cancer eating away at our moral values and teaching our children they are powerful only through dominance and violence; enforcing pain and control on others.
