Our Community in Focus

Welcome back to Your Life in Focus. We will begin our series this year focusing on families, our children and our youth. How we can better the lives of those in the community is a primary concern and focus. Our topics will be diverse and will invite the listener to become more involved  what affects us as citizens in a global society. 

We will have guest speakers and panelists to discuss topics germane to living a productive life and gaining perspectives that empower.

We will welcome back Brenda Walker of California to continue the discussion about how the schools are doing to address the issues of our most needy students and Carl and Debra Pope of Primary Group to discuss the long term impact of incarceration on our schools, our home  and our community.

Today's discussion will begin to delve into the effect of out of school suspensions on the future of our juveniles.
