This talk and Q&A session are taken from the full panel with Alain Laurent and Yaron Brook recorded on September 13, 2017 titled Les idées d'Ayn Rand en France avec Yaron Brook et Alain Laurent and contains only the English excerpts.  Please see parts 1 and 2 for the entire talk "Why are Ayn Rand's ideas relevant in France today?"

There has been an increased interest in Ayn Rand and her ideas throughout France in the past years. This summer alone, she has been discussed on the radio and TV, in national magazine articles and on blogs.

In June this year, the French edition of her magnum opus - Atlas Shrugged - La Grève was republished in a pocketbook edition by Les Belle Lettres. The French philosopher and author - Alain Laurent - was responsible for this republishing, and he and Yaron Brook will be talking about why they find Ayn Rand's ideas so relevant in France today.
