The "perfect-way" of denominational religious leaders who love the pre-eminence, attention, and authority. Give them control of your spiritual life and they will take it, obscuring your obedience to God and dependency on His Spirit to teach and guide, and instead, placing your obedience and dependency on themselves. Sound harsh? Look around with open eyes and see.
It's our fault. We neglect our individual responsibility, we ignore our conscience, we don't take time to listen for the Spirit. It happened with scribes and Pharisees and it happens now with preachers and teachers.
Really give ear to Jesus' words found in Matthew 15.
