this week the MadMen talk about one of the most controversial topics within the Black community... HAIR. A rift is forming that is beginning to go deeper that the lightskin / darkskin issue. The weave vs natural issue. Are sisters who perm or wear weaves selling out? Are they ashamed of their race, or just "being presentable" to earn a living? Are sisters who wear naturals shunned by men because they embrace their natural locks? Why does it seem the majority of men prefer women with straightened tresses? Are they just as culpable in the mental conditioning as society? How do we get past this rift and focus on REAL problems?
