WPR Rebuttal is pleased to promote an initiative of Joe Ohler: Require every institution of higher education to collect and disclose data on how a representative sample of its recent graduates is faring in the labor market.

After launching a predecessor petition in late 2015, Mr. Ohler found readers (generally) did not want to scroll past more than 3 desktop screens' worth of content prior to the signature box:

(The Change.org "tips" on promoting petitions are often irrelevant. For instance, I've doubled my petition signatures by -removing- all photos -- despite Change.org's exhortation, "Petitions with a photo get 6 times more signatures.")

Unlike the first occupational-outcomes petition, the present initiative targets the UW System directly (instead of petitioning the federal Department of Education).

Another improvement is motivation for the "target" of the petition has changed from, "Withhold Title IV funds / financial aid from schools that don't comply," to, "As a matter of marketing the school's usefulness, your institution should release data on how well / poorly your graduates are doing in the professional-job market."

Consequently, Ohler streamlined this prototypical petition into the one you see today (as of summer 2017):
