In this segment of About the Books, we are delighted to have Peter Balis of John Wiley & Sons Publishing join us to talk about the trends in e-books, e-pubs, and the emerging trends in digital publishing.

Peter is the co-chair of the Digital Issues Working Group at the American Association of Publishers (AAP) and teaches a graduate seminar in digital publishing at NYU.

As director of digital business development for John Wiley & Sons, he oversees  electronic sales and distribution, including projects related to e-Books, mobile applications, and related strategic partnerships. Previously, he was director of online sales for John Wiley & Sons.
