The LizyT Show with Author MARCUS HURST

• I was born on February 22, 1992 to conservative Mennonite parents, and was raised on a dairy farm in central PA.

• In 2006, at the age of 14, I was baptized and became a member of the Mennonite church that my parents went to.

• At the age of 15 I graduated from a private school. (I had completed eight grades, and I did not pursue any farther education.)

• In 2011, I started teaching sixth and seventh grade in a private school.

• In the spring of 2012 I started working at a bike shop where I worked for five years; except for spending two six-month terms at Red Rock Refuge as a mentor. (Red Rock Refuge is a facility for troubled teenage boys.)

• In June 2017, I quit my job at the bike shop and took a one-month trip around the lower 48 states.

• This past September, I started working for a framing contractor and help build houses.
