Women Warriors - Volunteering

This week on Women Warriors, Nov 14^th at noon ET, our special guest is Ellen McCarty.   Ellen will be discussing the topic of “How to find a volunteer gig that is a win’win.”  Especially with the holiday’s coming and a new year beginning, we might be considering some volunteer work but what should we consider when choosing which organization to support?   Join us and find out.

Ellen McCarty’s commitment to helping women achieve their goals and pursue their passion stems from  her 14+ years as a nonprofit executive for three Atlanta nonprofits , including the Make-A-Wish  Foundation© of Georgia and Alabama. 

In 2008, Ellen started her own firm, McCarty & Co., LLC, a senior consultancy that helps nonprofits thrive and individuals’ use their talents in the nonprofit sector.  After accepting an invitation to become an instructor for Emory University Continuing Education, Ellen created a structured program, C.R.O.P, to assist individuals to discover and pursue their passions.  Ellen provides workshops, small group sessions and one-on-one coaching custom designed to meet individual client needs.
