THINGS THAT COME TO CHALLENGE OUR FAITH TO MAKE US STRONGER- SERIES

Sub-Topic: Poverty & Debt: The lack of money is the root of all evil.

SCRIPTURE TEXT: (Ecc. 10:19)  A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.

DISCUSSION:  Life is so much better with money than without it! Money can be used for many things, to sustain us with food, clothing and shelter as well as the means to obtaining the material goods that we desire or want that makes us happy and content.  So, when there is a lack of money it challenges our faith, because we begin to question ourselves as to how we are going to have the provision and resources to survive. Some people will earnestly seek after God for the answer and solution to this challenge, while others will try to fix it themselves and often times make things worst instead of better because they don’t use wisdom or have knowledge of how to change their financial situation from the lack of to having a more abundant, productive, fruitful and wealthy life.
