Hi Bedroom Playmates

We are discussing how to talk to your kids about same sex love. Kids go to school and may have two same sex parents. How do you discuss with your child's teacher that she or her needs to make gifts for two mommies or daddies and not a mommy and daddy? How do you as heterosexual parents explain why little Molly has two mothers/daddies and not the "traditional" daddy and mommy? How do you handle being a "second" mommy or daddy to your child when you go to school functions? What if you child comes you and tells you that they are gay. lesbian, or interested in being the opposite than their birth? What does that conversation look like? Have you had the talk with your kids regarding gay marriage and what it looks like literally and figuratively?

This is going to be an interesting discussion.

I would love to hear from same sex parents, heterosexual parents of same gender loving childern or transsexual kids, etc.

Lets learn and grow together

I look forward to hearing from you!
