Inaya Day was once the under study for Stephanie Mills in THE WIZ and then gained the lead role as Dorothy. She later went on to write songs and sing hooks for the likes of Michael Jackson, Missy Elliot "Gossip Folks", Bootsy Collins, MC Lyte, Puff Daddy, and many more. She later became a Billboard Chart Topping House Music Artist with hits such as "Moving Up" and "Can't Stop Dancing" which was #1 on Billboards Club Play. Her remake of "Nasty Girl" is a fabulous rendition with a groove you can't help to move to. Nathan James and Meka Rae are excited to have her join us here "In The Basement With JaVonne" only on WJBR (internet Radio for the Inquiring Mind and Sophisticated Ear).
