Today's topic: Journeying with Down Syndrome: The Story of a Mother and Son
Author/activist Monique Ruffin has dedicated her life to living and teaching that we will change the world with a spiritual approach to all of life’s experiences. Life has given her many opportunities for growth with drug-addicted parents who were often imprisoned. She was raised in Los Angeles by her grandmother. It was her grandmother’s life-saving love and guidance that serves her activism’s foundation and inspiration. It also prepared her for her own motherhood story.
