This week on WTTA, our topic of discussion will be quite interesting.  After airing, “The Delicate Dynamics of Mothers and Daughters”, I received a message from a male listener who shared some of his experiences as a single father and his relationship with his daughter.  He suggested I do a show about the topic and volunteered to share his experiences.  Within the last two weeks, I had a chance to connect with another single father of a daughter who was also willing to share his experiences.

Tim and Vince will give their unique perspective on being a single parent and what that entails. When we hear the title 'single parent', most of us naturally assume a female is the head of household.  In reality, there are quite a few single dads out there playing the role of dad AND mom.  I can testify that raising a male child as a single mom definitely has its challenges.  I’m curious to learn if we share similar experience and how they handle all of the little nuances that come with trying to raise a secure, intelligent woman.

I’d like to know: How do you handle the hair issues?  Dating? Her period? Do you date a lot?  How soon is too soon to introduce women to daughters? How do you deal with the attitudes?  I definitely have questions lol.

The show will air Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 5:00 EST.  The Guest Call-In number is (713) 955-0703.

Hope you can join the conversation.

Peace & Kind Regards,

Tonja
