On the Thursday, July 15th program at 3PM Pacific and 6 PM Eastern, my guest is art jeweler and metalsmith Tracey Perseverance Johnson, who describes herself as '50% artist, 50% entrepreneur, in that order. I am an art jeweler and I also create metal wall art. In 2002, I received a Micro-Business Entrepreneurial Spirit Award and was also nominated for and received a Small Business Administration Home-Based Business Award. I was born to create but there is something I love even more and that is the discovery of new art techniques. My greatest accomplishment as an jeweler was exhibiting in 2005 at Wyland's gallery on the beautiful island of Oahu. Although that was a great honor to be a part of International artists gallery it doesn't top what is currently happening. I have spent the last 5 years developing a new pattern making process for the rolling mill. The process uses laser technology to cut low relief designs into paper. I just recently shared my process with the world (through facebook) and the response has been incredible. If I had a crystal ball and I could see the future I would say..get ready Tracey because life as you know it is about to change.'
