An Interview with E. Christian Kopff

E. Christian Kopff will be presented with AFA's Hero of Consicence Award for 2012 on Tuesday, May 22 at the Luxe Hotel in Bel Air.

He has taught at the University of Colorado, Boulder since 1973 and served as Associate Director of the Honors Program since 1990. His works include a critical edition of the Greek text of Euripides' Bacchae (Teubner, 1982), The Devil Knows Latin: Why America Needs the Classical Tradition (ISI Books, 1999) and many articles and reviews on scholarly, pedagogical and popular topics. In 2004 he was appointed Director of the Center for Western Civilization at CU-Boulder, which invites speakers and offers an undergraduate certificate in Foundations of Western Civilization
