Setback Survivor w/Dr. Ed Womack and Toya Y. Moore | Tamika Lord

Tonight Setback Survivors is excited and honored to Acknowledge and Showcase the Veterans who have served in our Armed Forces, but also those who serve Daily in their families and local communities. This week we are delighted to welcome Tamika T. Lord a woman passionate about serving and encouraging others.

She has been blessed to wear many hats, but is most thankful to serve in her roles as a wife, mother, and children’s ministry leader. In addition to these roles, Tamika is a retired veteran of the United States Air Force, a Therapist and business owner. Born in Saginaw, MI, Tamika went on to travel the world as a service member of the US Air Force.

After nearly 17 years of service, and the onset of chronic health issues, she was medically retired Since leaving the Air Force, Mrs. Lord has overcome numerous challenges and obstacles to transition and start anew. Her faith coupled with a passion to serve others empowered her to persevere through pain and find purpose.

In both her business and ministries, her vision is to:
Uplift and assist in restoring wholeness to the lives of those who are hopeless, broken or struggling to live, love and work.
