Photobucket Once upon a time ... exactly in April 1981 [Prince] creates THE TIME as an outlet for some of his most funky and danceable R&B material. Freeze is associated with THE TIME on the 1997 project [Old Dogs, New Tricks], the 2000 The Artist video [Rave Un2 The Year 2000] and the 2001 motion-picture soundtrack [Jay & Silent Bob Strikes Back] and with [Morris Day] on the 1985 album [Color Of Success], the 1987 album [Daydreaming], the 1997 project [Freak City], the 2003 motion-picture soundtrack [The Haunted Mansion: Haunted Hits] and the 2004 album [It's About Time]. In 1990 Freeze produced - together with [Morris Day] and Benny Medina - a female band called The Day Zs': This all-female funk group, fronted by former Mary Jane Girl Cheri' Wells could best be described as [Morris]' attempt at creating his own Vanity 6. Essentially a female version of THE TIME, The Day Zs' self-titled one and only album - released 1990 on Reprise / Warner Bros. Records - is a lightweight but fun and funky ride. He has also written tracks for Gladys Knight & The Pips, Angie Stone and Dynasty, is experienced in arranging, engineering, programming and producing and appeared on many albums by other artists like Phil Perry, 3rd Avenue, By All Means, Glenn Jones and Shalmar for example.
