Spiritual Fruits or Religious Nuts?

I recently went to a Gospel conert and the artist said that there were certain name brand clothing (ie. Roca Wear, G Unit, Baby Phat, Sean John) that he wouldn't wear. The reason is because these clothing carry the spirit of the individuals that produced them, and as a Christian, didn’t want to associate with them. What are your views on this? Would wearing a “G-Unit” cap subject you to get shot 9 times? Would wearing “Sean John” make us want to party like a Rock Star? Let's talk about it!
