It's become more and more difficult for pharmaceutical companies to present the value of their products and achieve favorable access to physicians and end users amid tightening regulations and comparative effectiveness.

In the below podcast, Kent Rogers, Senior Director, Managed Markets, Acorda Therapeutics, talks about the evolution of pharmaceutical development and sales force, touching on how much development is moving into the specialty tier as many drugs come off patent and also how some companies are forging ahead doing their own comparative effectiveness trials.

He will talk about this further at the PharmaForce conference, which will take place October 3 - 5, 2011, in Princeton, NJ. You can visit the website to learn more about the event.
