More Than A Husband

Our comprehension of the Name Jesus has been skewed and adulterated from the first interpretations translated by the Gentiles. Unlike English, Hebrew is much more complex than simple root definitions. Each letter of the Hebrew alphabet has a meaning and can be broken down to identify the deeper mystery hidden within. Up to this point I have referred to Jesus mostly by the English mispronunciation of the Greek Iesous1 to avoid confusion or over complicating the text. Do not misunderstand me though. The scripture tells us HE understands us all regardless of what language we speak. “There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard…” Psalm 19:3 However, to understand His actual identity we must dig deeper into the Hebrew root and the etymology of His real Name. Once His true person is revealed, we find an even deeper purpose as a bride of Christ. In addition, we will uncover who GOD says Jesus is and discover His identity throughout biblical text and prophecy.
