With all the diverse names or appellations the body of Christ has been referred to so far, the New Covenant may seem more like a compilation of contradictions rather than a release of revelations. For instance, since GOD is Jesus’ FATHER, how can GOD be our FATHER since Jesus is our husband? Since we are a servant, how can we be an heir? Furthermore, as Gentiles, how can we be called a child of GOD or even a bride to a Jewish husband and receive the inheritance of a Jewish FATHER? Knowledge of Jewish traditions, once again, explains our Jewish Husband which unravels any mystery the Bible once held for a Gentile bride. Each covenant we walk in, title we carry, or name we are referred to, continues to expand as we grow in our relationship with Jesus until it matures into an intimate marriage we have all been called to enter into.
