The Gifts of Healing Episode 10 of 10 from the Series Gifts of the Holy Spirit

The word healing, by definition is to grow sound, become well, or mend.  When God uses an individual to minister healing through the Holy Spirit, they are said to have the gifts of healing.  Those who have been anointed with a gift of healing may or may not operate in the same ability for there are diversities in gifts.  The gifts of healing are plural; there is more than one way healing is ministered.  One may be called to lay hands on the sick and they recover while yet another might only need to speak to an infirmity and it leaves.  Similarly, one may only be anointed to heal cancer while another has the gift to heal blindness.  Still another may be anointed to speak against all illness.  Only God knows why the gifts are administered differently.  We can be sure though, He is the same Holy Spirit, the same Lord, and the same God which works all in all.
