Our God is a consuming fire. (Heb. 12: 29b).
Deut. 4:23-24: Take heed to yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of the LORD your God which He made with you, and make for yourselves a carved image in the form of anything which the LORD your God has forbidden you. For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.
The fire of God consumes a person with more passion that love consumes a lover. His consuming fire enters the spirit of man and burns with the same fire that burns within God. It consumes everything in its path, like a roaring fire when it overtakes and consumes everything in its way. If there is any hesitancy about entering into the Fire of God, the Presence of His person melts away all fear and doubt.
Lev. 6:13: A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.
Are you discontent, dissatisfied, searching, drifting, dry, depressed? Then ask the LORD to rekindle your fire. Lord light my fire.
