Do It Anyway

There are times when God gives you a command that you don't understand, you don't agree with but do it anyway. 

Hosea 1:2, 2 When the Lord began to speak through Hosea, the Lord said to him, “Go, marry a promiscuous woman and have children with her, for like an adulterous wife this land is guilty of unfaithfulness to the Lord.”

Hosea 3:1-2, The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress. Love her as theLord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.” 2 So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and about a homer and a lethek of barley. 3 Then I told her, “You are to live with me many days; you must not be a prostitute or be intimate with any man, and I will behave the same way toward you.”

The Reward

Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

Psalms 34:10 The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

Psalms 37:25 25 I have been young and now am old, yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread.

John 10:27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
