I have Graven thee, the Lord makes this statement to a people that has had seventy years of judgment. The Lord and his blessings had left Judah as she face horrific judgment. But in this judgment is mercy, for he intended to return them to their former status as His people. Here included is the ones whom would carry the very laws and proclaim them as they see full restoration of the tribe.

I Have Graven, is Hebrew Strong's #H2710. Properly it means to hack, that is, engrave. To be a #scribe simply. By implication to #enactlaws being cut in stone or metal tables. Generally to appoint, #decree, #governor, grave, #lawgiver. Here we find the former captives being told they are graven upon the palms of my hands [Gods hands]. They were destined to be returned, #redeemed from slavery and bonds; to be set forth as ones who would appoint or decree the #lawsofGod. As a lawgiver would do, so would #Judah.  These verses illustrate that #God called them out of the #Babylonian #captivity to #restore them and #bless them. Making their #enemies to flee and the #troublemakers to be gone. #Ihavegraventhee
