The Best American Golfer, Some US Open & Puntam National

Steve Stricker captured the Memorial this weekend in dramatic fashion. The 10th PGA TOUR win of his career moved him to 4th in the Official World Golf Rankings which makes him the highest ranked American in the world. Is he the best American? Can Stricker become #1 and put the US on top?
