From Stage To Stage The Empress Makes It Her Home

Joining me on the couch is Empress Joyner the extraordinary play write,poetess, songwriter, MC and businesswoman. She is the CEO of Erica Joyner Publishing and Empress Corp. and now H.O.L.T. Productions. Known on the underground music and spoken word scene for her powerful and evoking lyrics.To her credit she has made her song-writing debut on Ginuwine's "The Life" project with her sensual song "Role Play". Empress has has written and produced her first stage play titled “The Ass Chronicles”. Which comprises of several monologues performed in a full out theatrical play. It was created after her brief participation in a similar production. Being inspired by her own experiences, struggles and triumphs, “The Ass Chronicles” is made up of a varying number of monologues performed by Empress and a cast of actors and extras. Every monologue somehow relates to the buttocks, be it through sex, love, rape, puberty, mutilation, masturbation, birth, orgasm. As she settles into the couch, the Empress gives us a behind the curtain view of her extraordinary talents.
