RIP James Boyd

In response to the murder of a homeless citizen, for "illegal camping", by Albuquerque Police, Anonymous initiated #OpAlbequerque bringing attention to the incident.

Anonymous called for citizens to respond with a protest march.

Turns out, this was not an isolated incident, but an epidemic of police violence going unchecked for years. Anonymous' response: a list of common sense demands attempting to reform the widespread corruption.

Statistics backed up anecdotal evidence, proving APD was consistently getting away with murder.

The Dept of Justice has been investigating since the Boyd shooting, their findings are detailed in this scathing report.

Tonight we welcome a few of the families of APDs victims.

We will hear their stories of anguish and frustrations they have encountered in trying to bring about any accountability of the department. Their mantra, "Change Needs to Happen".
